1) How do I use iAppHost with a subdomain?

After you sign up, we will reach out to you and let you know how to decide on a name for your subdomain. After deciding, we will set up everything else for you.

2) How do I use iAppHost with my own domain?

After you sign up, we will send you a CNAME by email. All you have to do is point your domain to the CNAME through your registrar's interface. We take care of the rest.

3) I want to host more than 25 apps - what should I do?

Create a ticket with our support system. We will be happy to make you a personalized offer.

4) Can I upgrade my account later on?

Yes. Just contact support and we will seamlessly transition you higher or lower. Please note that downgrading your account is only possibly if you are currently showing less than the maximum number of apps allowed in the new size.

5) I am using a vendor SDK. Can you add their icon/logo to my site?

Yes. Open a support ticket with the details and we'll get right to it. If possible, include a link to the SDK's page outlining the logo placement rules.

6) Where are backups stored?

Backups and servers are stored in separate datacenters to ensure maximum data integrity in case of an emergency.

7) Can I pay through someone else than PayPal?

Currently not. However, PayPal allows you to easily pay with the majority of credit cards without creating an account.

8) How is tracking handled?

All tracking is done through Google Analytics. All you have to do is enter your tracking code in the admin panel and we take care of placing it on all your pages and tracking all clicks. To view your statistics, simply log in to your Google Analytics account.

9) How do you integrate with Twitter?

iAppHost is integrated with Twitter in two ways. First, we allow visitors to your sites to easily tweet a link by clicking the "tweet" button. This button also shows the total number of people who have tweeted a link to your app so far. Then we show a "follow" icon on every app page and on "coming soon" pages (you see those when an app does not have an AppStore link yet). Users can visit your twitter account and follow you from there.

10) How do you integrate with Facebook?

iAppHost is integrated with Facebook in two ways. First, we allow visitors to your sites to easily share a link on their walls by clicking the share button. The button also shows how often a link to your app has been liked by others. Then we show a "become a fan" button on every app page and on "coming soon" pages (you see those when an app does not have an AppStore link yet). Users can visit your Facebook fan page and become fans.

11) What device orientations can my screenshots be in?

iAppHost supports horizontal and vertical screenshots for iPad and iPhone aspect ratios.

12) How does embedding videos work?

Simply upload your video to YouTube and paste the video's ID into the designated field in the control panel.

13) Can I switch themes at any time?

Yes. You can change between themes at any time. All your data and contents are stored to be independent of the applied design.
